P&O Cruises updates alcohol policy

Writer's picture: Dan WarrenDan Warren

P&O Cruises has updated its alcohol policy for passengers embarking on their voyages.

Previously, adult passengers were allowed to bring one litre of wine, champagne, beer, spirits, or liqueur on board when they embarked.

However, with immediate effect, the company has revised its policy, removing beer, spirits, or liqueur from the list of permitted beverages. Passengers are now limited to bringing only one litre of wine or champagne on board.

When queried about the rationale behind this adjustment, a spokesperson cited alignment with the company's Health, Environment, Safety, and Security guidelines as the primary reason for the change.
