Norse Atlantic Airways reduced its half-year losses to $75.7 million and plans to scale back capacity after the summer peak.
]The airline will return three Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners to their leasing firm this autumn, resulting in a streamlined fleet composed entirely of 787-9s.
This move will provide Norse with a "more uniform, flexible, and cost-efficient fleet."
The carrier's fleet increased by two to 12 aircraft in May, reflecting a 20% capacity boost.
Norse, which operates transatlantic routes from London Gatwick, is currently in discussions with several airlines regarding multi-year charter agreements and has announced plans to strengthen its relationships with the travel trade.
