New experiences coming to Universal Orlando

Prepare for an exciting addition to Universal Orlando Resort's lineup in 2024, as a brand-new land dedicated to the beloved characters and stories from DreamWorks animation is set to debut. Under development since last year, this eagerly anticipated corner of Universal Studios Florida will finally open its gates this summer, with June 14 now confirmed as the official opening date, as listed on the Universal Orlando website.

Designed primarily with families in mind, the new land will feature three major attractions to delight visitors of all ages. First up is the Trollercoaster, inspired by the popular Trolls movies. This whimsical "kiddie" coaster promises thrills suitable for even the youngest guests at the resort. Additionally, Po's Training Camp offers a dynamic play area where kids can burn off excess energy with active play. For a more immersive experience, guests can partake in a virtual meet-and-greet with Po himself, engaging with the beloved character via a digital screen.

Lastly, Shrek's Swamp Meet transports guests into the iconic world of Shrek, with an authentic recreation of his swamp home where encounters with Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona await, promising memorable moments for all who visit.

The resort also included a new "Mega Movie Parade" debuting on 3rd July at Universal Studios as well as a night time spectacular titled 'CineSational'. Islands of Adventure will see a new Harry Potter themed projection show called "Hogwarts Always"
