Fiji reports surge in tourists

Writer's picture: Dan WarrenDan Warren

Fiji has recorded a remarkable 15% surge in UK visitors during the first quarter of the year compared to 2023, surpassing pre-pandemic figures.

Furthermore, global visitation numbers have also exceeded pre-pandemic levels, with arrivals in February 2024 soaring 16% higher than in February 2020.

Tourism Fiji attributes this growth in visitors to several factors, including increased airlift, the introduction of new resorts, and the destination's exposure on popular television programs
