Aer Lingus confirms JFK relocation

Aer Lingus has announced that it will relocate to Terminal 6 at JFK, commencing operations on the terminal’s first day of passenger service in early 2026.

Additionally, Aer Lingus will unveil a new signature lounge in Terminal 6, offering a modern, state-of-the-art space with increased seating capacity, providing enhanced comfort for its customers.

Passengers can anticipate Terminal 6’s boutique, contemporary design, featuring short walking distances to and from gates, curated artwork, and 100,000 square feet of NYC-inspired shopping and dining. A new Aer Lingus check-in area will offer a seamless experience with self-service bag drop options for added convenience. Aer Lingus customers will also benefit from seamless connectivity within the same terminal when connecting with partner JetBlue.

Currently, Aer Lingus operates twice-daily nonstop flights from JFK Terminal 7 to Dublin, and daily flights to Shannon, Ireland, as well as daily service to Manchester, England, using Airbus A330 and A321LR aircraft. A dedicated lounge is available for premium passengers at JFK Terminal 7. With US Preclearance facilities in Dublin and Shannon, Aer Lingus passengers on Dublin-JFK and Shannon-JFK flights can complete US immigration and customs inspections before departure, ensuring a smooth exit upon arrival at JFK.
